Současná irská kytarová scéna je v té nejlepší kondici, důkazem jsou i postpunkem ovlivnění @[1495829580667815:274:Fontaines D.C.] Jejich loňská debutová deska Dogrel, která tematizuje deziluzi mladé generace, vyvolala pořádný rozruch. Ještě ambicióznější Fontaines D. C. teď naváží na loňský úspěch druhou deskou A Hero's Death, kterou v rámci své české premiéry představí 18. března 2021 v pražském klubu Roxy. Koncert pořádá agentura Fource Entertainment společně s klubem Roxy za podpory promotérského kolektivu Heartnoize.

Their 2019 debut took on the disillusionment of the young generation. Barely a year since Dogrel earned them a spot as one of the most acclaimed new bands of 2019, Dublin’s Fontaines D. C. will return with A Hero’s Death on 31st July. Arriving battered and bruised – albeit beautiful – the album is anything but a re-hash of the swaggering energy from their first record. Instead, the music is patient, confident, and complex – a heady and philosophical take on the modern world and its great uncertainty.
